As a faithful partner of Going Global, you know we are committed to helping people both abroad and here at home. As many of you know, in East Tennessee, wildfires spread causing devastation to Gatlinburg and the surrounding communities. Thousands of acres of land were destroyed including more than 700 buildings in Sevier County alone. Thousands of people had to be evacuated as their homes were destroyed by the fires. Sadly, 13 people lost their lives. As the fires cease and the smoke clears thousands of people will be returning to find that everything has been destroyed and that they are left with nothing. We must help our Tennessee neighbors in this desperate and hurting time.
Going Global is partnering with a local effort in the Clarksville community to send donations to those that are affected by these wildfires. Will you be the hands and feet of Christ and help us make an impact here in our own backyard?
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has released a list of businesses that are accepting donations to send to those affected. If you would like to make donations on behalf of Going Global, please use these drop-off points:
