TJ’s House was started in memory of Tonya Joseph. Tonya was a young girl who battled kidney disease all her life. Tonya had a huge heart for kids, especially those who were less fortunate. A desire to visit the orphan children in Zimbabwe would never materialize. Tonya would pass away at 32 years old.
When our team arrived in Zimbabwe and saw the helpless children, our hearts were moved and we decided to do something about it in honor of Tonya.
TJ’s House was born. TJ’s House is about establishing self-sustaining programs that not only take care of children in their current condition but also offer opportunity and empowerment toward their futures.

Through our partnerships we have purchased irrigation systems to allow year round crop production, purchased a tractor and implements for planting and harvesting crops, provided finances to build homes for kids to live in, and purchased a bus to transport them. We have also established chicken projects that are generating income through wholesale distribution of eggs.
The work has generated finances that pay children’s school fees and educational opportunities, and provide them with clothing and food three times a day.
We recently finished renovating a building for the opening of our first Dental/Medical clinic. Within a few months we will be offering free dental care to the orphans and the poorest of people.
It’s amazing what is taking place through TJ’s House. To be honest we’re just getting started. Together we are changing cultures and communities around the world; lifting them out of poverty and empowering them with opportunities.
