Recently, we at Going Global heard about a rural area in Zimbabwe that had gone into a dry riverbed and dug deep holes just to provide water for the community. Most of their needs were going unmet. We were moved to action.
Because of your generosity, we were able to drill a well in that village. When we hit water, many people were gathered around. Everyone was celebrating because of the life-giving resource that had just become much easier to obtain.
We often take for granted a glass of water, but there are many around the world who struggle to get a single, clean glass of water. Thank you for helping us make a difference in this community. Your continued generosity is helping us to empower the powerless and give identity to the faceless.
